A variety of Tayberry (cross between blackberry and raspberry) called Buckingham Thornless which lacks the prickles associated with the wild varieties of its parents, It yields its large - up to 4 cm long - dark purple-red fruit from mid to late summer.
Our Tayberries are grown in pots, have an extensive root system, and are ready to plant out on arrival. They grow vigorously in a sunny, fertile, spot and will need staking or training against a wall.
The flowers provide nectar for butterflies.
